Maurizio Crupi at IGIR Lunch Seminar

19-Nov-2018

ESR4 presented the progress of his research at the IGIR Lunch Seminar held at Maastricht University on 15 November 2018.

Maurizio discussed the legal issues concerning the link between GI products and the territory, with a focus on the concepts of culture and innovation. In particular, he provided a detailed description of his methodology, which involves a directed content analysis of the single documents available on the European Commission DOOR database.

Building on the valuable inputs received at the seminar, he will analyse whether there has been a progressive loosening of the link between the products and their geographical origin, with a focus on human and reputational factors.
